| A PranaPlay Experience is a process-oriented, transformational exploration of the fluidity of your life force, or prana, as it manifests in body postures and movements, breathing shapes, emotional states and thought patterns. This multi-dimensional experience combines the art of naturopathy, Western psychologies, Eastern contemplation, yoga and movement, and breath and bodywork to restore energetic balance. PranaPlay invites you to disengage from habitual modes of being, unite body, breath, mind and spirit, and enter into the realm of possibility and potential in order to contact and cultivate your authentic mode of being. While the form is always changing and evolving, PranaPlay has four basic, yet overlapping and interconnected methods for diving deeply within: Life Coaching and Counseling, Energetic Bodywork, Breathwork, and Yoga and Movement. PranaPlay Life Coaching and Counseling Life Coaching emphasizes creating insight, expanding consciousness and cultivating wellness. Life Coaching sessions examine the flow of your thought process, and identify how thoughts and feelings are often held within the tissues of your body. Becoming more fluid mentally, you can then establish focus and life direction, release fears and phobias, and reframe outmoded thought patterns. Releasing and reframing core beliefs that influence and sustain your current habits and behaviors, you can live with greater freedom and ease. PranaPlay Breathwork The breathing sessions ask the questions, "What inspires you?" and "How do you inspire - take in life?" PranaPlay Breathwork helps you find your free and unencumbered breath - the breath that arises easily, spontaneously and naturally. Once discovered, you explore and release physical, mental and emotional fixations that hamper self-expression and full-bodied living. PranaPlay Breathwork can benefit those suffering from a number of ailments - from anxiety to depression, from asthma to hypertension, from PMS to back pain - although depth exploration of self remains the primary focus. PranaPlay Bodywork The bodywork sessions, done in silence or with probing dialogue, allow you to unwind overt or subtle physical, mental, emotional and energetic tension or trauma. Either gently as in cranio-sacral and ortho-bionomy, or more vigorously as in Thai-Yoga Massage and Meridian Release, PranaPlay Bodywork continually invites you to stay present with your experience of the moving energy within. PranaPlay Movement and Yoga Therapy The moving sessions reflect on “How do you inhabit your body?” and “How at home do you feel in your own skin?” Through slow and focused attention to your inner landscape (felt-sense experience), PranaPlay Movement and Yoga explores moving fluidly, with ease and grace, supported by air and space, and free from pain or discomfort. Armed with this awareness you can begin to move through life with new patterns that increase vitality and reduce physical, mental and emotional stress and dis-ease.
